Introduction to Information visualisation

This course will give participants will an understanding of the principles and methods of information visualisation. The course will start with some basic concepts and a look at human visual perception. Then, it will survey various methods and techniques from information visualisation according to data type. The course will conclude with an overview of tools and toolkits which can be used to produce one's own visualisations.
